Selene Warren dipped her toes in magic, but she wasn't casting spells like a full-time witch. In fact, she'd suppressed her powers for most of her life because that's what her grandma taught her to do. But when a strange man appears in her life, telling her grandmother that she's really a witch turns out to be the least of her worries. Soon Selene finds herself in a new world and she discovers that witches aren't the only fairy tale creatures that are real.
Let me start off by saying that urban fantasies are my favorite genre. The story lines of paranormal beings living in today's modern world are fun and entertaining and Easy Bake Coven is no different.
I was drawn to the book because of the title (I mean, how cute is Easy Bake Coven), but kept reading because the characters were well-developed and the story flowed so well. You certainly don't have to struggle to finish this little gem. If you love H.P. Mallory, you're going to love Liz Schutle.
