Book Synopsis:

n this heartfelt romance, Zane McKenna, a lonely rancher, pines for his ex-wife, Tara, who has experienced tragedy and misfortune since she left him for another man, a man who has since died. Now Tara is missing. Zane must not only find Tara on the Wyoming prairie before it's too late, but must help her overcome her shattered life and even recover her sense of self. He must also find forgiveness within his own heart and convince Tara to work with him to set things right between them again -- or he will lose her forever.

A longer short story of 9,500 words.

I love westerns, romances, men in cowboy hats...all in all, Taking Back Tara has all those things and more. Sure, it's a short story, but it's a powerful story. Some authors could ramble on for 300 pages and not accomplish what Eve Paludan does in thirty. I loved the characters in this story. Tara is a broken woman who has stopped believing in herself and Zane is a changed man that wants to put the past behind them and start again. I recommend this book to anyone that loves romantic westerns and tales of true love.
