Book Synopsis:
Sarah Jenkins just turned thirty and instead of a “girls only”
weekend getaway to a tropical island or the designer bag she’s been
eyeing for months, her best friend, Amy, gives her a six month
subscription to an online dating service, SoulMates4Everafter. From the
glossy brochures of perfect couples riding into the sunset on horseback
to the hundreds of testimonials on their website, the dating service
promises to find Sarah an ideal soulmate from it’s heavenly database.
Despite her skepticism, Sarah decides to give it a try. After all,
nothing ventured, nothing gained. But when she has trouble putting
together her online profile and she’s about to give up on her search
before it even begins, she finds divine help from Gabriel, a unlikely
guardian angel from the company’s tech support department. With
Gabriel’s help, Sarah finds herself thrust into the unpredictable world
of blind dates. Will she find the man of her dreams or
will she take a fall from heaven’s cloud nine?
Review:
Like other books I've read from Erin Brady, One Last Blind Date is both funny and addictive. Brady writes in such a style that you just flow from one page to the next and the next thing you know the book's over. If you love romantic comedies, you're going to love this book.
