When Alice, a middle-aged mother and wife, sees a couple having afternoon sex in the park, she is embarrassed but walks on. Crucially, she fails to tell her husband. Then a policeman knocks on the door, asking her to make a statement. The man involved is apparently renowned for taking advantage of young girls and the prey in question, was just fifteen....
Alice is the only witness. If she gives evidence in court, she might stop the man from hurting more vulnerable adolescents. But by putting herself on the stand, Alice risks exposing her own past. And all because she went for a simple walk in the park, at the wrong time and in the wrong place.
