Book Synopsis:

Twenty years, three kids, and a few extra pounds after the ball, Cinderella's life changes in a heartbeat. With her family she's enjoyed a life of privilege, respect, and purpose. But soon she's alone, barefoot, wearing rags, and locked inside cold, gray walls. Then her life changes again when a magical creature, a mysterious stranger, and several really short guys show up at her prison door. Having these visitors, she remembers what her wise husband Prince Charming has told her many times–there's an upside to every downer life brings. (Sometimes, though, it’s hard to find the good in the bad, especially at the first.) With her belief in happy endings restored, can Cinderella form alliances, face her enemies, and escape the walls that confine her? For answers, you must read Walls, a Cinderella, P. I. Novel.

I absolutely loved this book. I've always been a fan of fairy tales and have read many retellings, but this book is unique in that it shows us what happened after the original story concluded. It's still got the whimsy of the original tale, but in a fun, grownup way. If you love fantasy, romance, fairy tales, and mystery, you'll love this book.
