The famous dog
sleuth is back! And so are his human mom, Callie, and her zany
190-pound bombshell cousin, Lovie! Follow their latest antics in
Elvis and the Buried Brides (A Southern Cousins Cozy Mystery
w/bonus short story and recipes).
It’s available in
digital book form. Here are the links:
I love the artwork on the cover! It’s
original and drawn by my granddaughter, Cecilia Griffith, a sophomore
at SMU in Dallas.
Readers have been asking if the latest
Southern Cousins Mystery will also be available in
print. The answer is yes. Currently, I’m wrapping up some
more projects, but I expect to have Elvis and the Buried Brides
in print before summer.
They are also asking about future
cozies in this series. You can look for a brand new adventure in
December! As always, the books in this cozy series combine humor,
romance and mystery with some really great family recipes from
Lovie’s kitchen. Here’s her Easy Peach Cobbler recipe: Melt 1
stick of butter in an 8 inch glass casserole dish and set aside. Mix
1 c. of self-rising flour, 1 c. of sugar and ¾ cup of milk. Pour
into melted butter. DO NOT STIR. Spoon 1 can of sliced peaches
around the dish. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 350 till golden. This is a
chewy cobbler. Serve with a dollop of vanilla ice cream! Yum!
Happy reading and happy eating!
