Those that have read Richard Matheson are usually familiar with his horror stories, such as I Am Legend, but he was so much more. I felt this book was appropriate for Sunday because of it's deeply spiritual plot. Matheson combined a variety of beliefs from different religions to write this wonderful story. And, yes, it's a thousand times better than the movie, though the movie was wonderful. I recommend this book to anyone that has feared death or is just looking for a brighter view of the afterlife.
