The White Oak by Kim White
$4.99
What happens when you wake up in the underworld - alive? That's exactly what happens to Cora Alexander after she falls into her father's grave that was swallowed up by a sink hole. Unfortunately, her brother wasn't as lucky. He, too, is in the underworld, but he's there the way he should be - dead. Can Cora make it out of the underworld alive with the aid of her brother who has knack for programming?
I was eagerly awaiting this book because I love all things fantasy. Unfortunately, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the sci-fi elements of the book. That's not to say that The White Oak by Kim White isn't a good book. Actually, it's a book that you have a hard time putting down once you start reading it.
I recommend The White Oak by Kim White to anyone who loves sci-fi and young adult books. If you're looking for more of a fantasy novel, you may not enjoy the book as much.
Writer was given a copy of this book to review through NetGalley.
