Author Spotlight and Giveaway with Linda Wisdom

About Linda Wisdom

When I sold to Silhouette books on my wedding anniversary in 1979 I didn't expect to get this far. I love what I do and can't imagine doing anything else. I'm married with two white mini Schnauzers, one parrot, and a demented tortoise. We live in Southern California near San Diego in a town that's provided fodder for some of my stories. I like to say that when we moved here twenty years ago there were three romance writers. Now there is only me and to date I have not been considered a suspect.

You'll also notice I'm putting my backlist books up for the Kindle along with many more found at www.joyridebooks.com that's also for the Kindle. A lot of my fans have asked if my past books will ever be available as e-books and I'm so glad I was able to do that for them. So keep checking my book list here and you'll see more showing up!

My Hex series are the books of my heart. The ones I've wanted to write for a long time and so glad to see out there. Many readers are confused by the two Demon titles and different cover looks. They're a part of the Hex series, still the disgraced witches from the Witches Academy, just with a different look. And yes, more are coming along with some novellas featuring the first witches.

There's times I think I enjoy writing the creatures more than the characters. And probably why my Fluff and Puff bunny slippers tend to never be where I left them!

  3. Great post! As a child I was in and out of the hospital alot. Many surgeries. After one in particular I was on bedrest for months, literally from Christmas through the summer. A family friend brought me some books to read and in the stack was a copy of Little Women. It's not the book that made me fall in love with reading, but it definitely broadened my horizons as a reader. I still love it today.

    1. And somehow the first part of my comment was deleted. I absolutely LOVE the Hex and Demon books. Those witches, warlocks, demons, etc are hilarious. They almost feel like friends.
