It seems as though authors have forgotten about the importance of well-written stories. Stories that have enough detail to draw you in and make you feel like you're right there, watching each scene unfold. David Carter brings his A game when it comes to The Murder Diaries. The book is so well-detailed, that the scenes seem to leap from the page and take place around you. With that said, the detail isn't overwhelming. Carter uses just enough detail to make the book come to life, but not so much that the book drags.
I would recommend The Murder Diaries - Seven Times Over to anyone who loves a good mystery. If you're a fan of Criminal Minds or CSI Miami, you're going to really enjoy this attention-grabbing novel.
