Book Synopsis:
When Samara arrives home from her honeymoon with Luke, she finds herself
keeping more secrets from her mate—and her pack—than ever before. When
the Tala pack travels to the Catskills to find out if there’s a chance
that Samara’s grandfather, Joe McKinley, might still be alive, Samara
finds herself witnessing a Vyka initiation that she would have rather
not seen. But as the Vyka get prepared to attack the Tala, Samara knows
that they’re really out for blood this time. She needs to stay strong
for her pack and must hope that no one she loves will be lost during the
fight.
Recommended for ages 10 and up due to mild language, underage drinking, and mild sexual references.
Review:
I've been a huge fan of the Howl series from the beginning. Learning that this would be the last installment was a bit of a downer. I'd come to love the characters in the series and hated to see it end. At the same time, I couldn't wait to read it and downloaded the book as soon as it was available on Amazon. I finished the book in two days and must admit that this is a real tearjerker. With that said, the series couldn't have had a better ending.
If you love paranormal romance, werewolves, and young adult fiction, you're going to love this series. Check out my reviews for the other books in the series:
