ICE agent Jack Wyatt is convinced the increased human trafficking on the west coast is being routed through the islands of the pacific northwest—and everything points to idyllic Hartz Island.

Can Cassie rebuild her life, and will Jack solve the crime, where the locals still hang out at the Ferry Dock café and Jeannie Rogers continues to bake her tasty pies?

Review:

I love the town, setting, and everything about this series. Tracie Ingersoll Loy has the amazing ability to create towns and characters that you can't help but fall in love with. This was a wonderful sequel to Slip Into the Night. It's got tons of suspense, romance, and interesting relationships to keep you hooked. If you love romantic suspense, give this series a try.
