Believe In Me This Christmas Morn by L.A. Sartor

Book 3 in the Star Light - Star Bright Series

Be sure to check out the posts for Book 1 and 2 in the series. Be Mine This Christmas Night and Forever Yours This New Year's Night.
I started this journey with a single book, Be Mine This Christmas Night, because

Christmas holds a special place in my heart. Then the other characters in the book begged me to tell their stories, and this series, Star Light ~ Star Bright, was born.

Christmas has remained a special season for me, from the wonder of believing in Santa Claus as a child to the wonder of believing in the kindness and grace of the season as an adult. And since living in Boulder, Colorado, the wonder of the star on Flagstaff mountain.

Love and forgiveness seem more significant at this time of year as well.

I hope you enjoy Mitch’s journey. His story was one I knew I had to write. I couldn’t leave him as he was at the end of Be Mine This Christmas Night. He had to find a way to let his guilt go. (Yes, Let It Go is one of my favorite songs.)

A Grantham never quits. Especially at Christmas!

It’s the week before Christmas and Santa arrives early, gifting Belle Grantham with a new website for her struggling literacy non-profit. Nary a lump of coal in sight.

Mitchell Thomas is a web wizard. His website makeover contest is won by Belle purely on her abysmal website but worthy goal. As he works alongside her, he discovers she’s a Texas bred princess, born with a silver spoon…or two. Unlike himself who barely owned a spoon until college.

The lump of coal finally appears in the form of her board of directors, comprised of her rancher father, younger brother and global entrepreneur best friend, who demand that she either hand over Goal 100% to a qualified staff or they’ll close her down.

Belle knows that Mitchell believes in her dream and is drawn to her, yet there’s a barrier to his heart she can’t breach. Will she find out why her board is so adamant about their demands? Will Mitchell abandon her when his work is done?

What a wonderful addition to this series. I've loved each book and loved this one, too. Reading Mitch's story and seeing him wrestle with the pain of his sister's death was touching and heartwarming. Belle brings such happiness and healing energy to the series. She's the perfect match for Mitch who has been through so much. It's a story that will make you laugh, cry, and smile with complete satisfaction when you read the last page. I couldn't have asked for more from this book.
About the Author:
I started writing as a child, really. A few things happened on the way to becoming a published author …pecifically, a junior high school teacher who told me I couldn’t write because I didn’t want to study … urk …grammar.

That English teacher stopped my writing for years. But the muse couldn’t be denied, and eventually I wrote, a lot, some of it award winning. However, I wasn’t really making a career from any of this.

My husband told me repeatedly that independent publishing was becoming a valid way to publish a novel. I didn’t believe him even after he showed me several Wall Street Journal articles. I thought indie meant vanity press.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

I started pursuing this direction seriously, hit the keyboard, learned a litany of new things and published
my first novel. My second book became a bestseller, and I’m absolutely on the right course in my life. Email me at Leslie@LeslieSartor.com. I’d love to hear from you.
